This project, a collaboration between Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council and Belfast Photo Festival, encourages residents and visitors to explore and discover the places around them through photography.
Exploring Antrim and Newtownabbey celebrates the borough as a place of year-round beauty, character and cultural richness.
From natural landscapes and built heritage to local memories and everyday experiences, it invites people to see familiar places with fresh eyes.
Open to all residents, visitors, professionals and amateurs.
We want to see the details that make these places special to you. Use a camera or simply take pictures with your phone so you can choose, share and exhibit your best images.
Take inspiration from Evanna Devine in spring, Nuala Kerrigan in summer, Conn McCarrick in Autumn and Joe Laverty in Winter. Our commissioned photographers and the public will together create a unique photographic record of Antrim and Newtownabbey.
